National Economics University (NEU) 3/1 afternoon announced the 2025 enrollment plan. Compared to last year, the three enrollment methods remain stable.
One is direct admission, applied to students belonging to one of the following groups: policy beneficiaries, directly admitted according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; third prize or higher in national excellent student competitions; first prize or higher in national science and technology competitions.
SecondlyConsider the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam with four groups, including A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English), D07 (math, chemistry, English), with no difference between the groups. The threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) with this method is 20 points, as in recent years.
Candidates who are eligible for direct admission but do not use it will be given 1-2 extra points when applying for admission using their graduation exam scores.
Third is combined admission, for three groups of candidates.
Group 1 are students with international SAT certificates from 1200/1600 or ACT 26/36 or higher. These are two popular standardized tests in the US.
Group 2 is for candidates with a minimum score of 85/150 HSA, 700/1200 APT or 60/100 TSA on the aptitude test. Candidates can apply based on their test results alone or in combination with an international English certificate such as IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 46 or higher.
Group 3 is candidates with an English certificate combined with a graduation exam score in math and another subject. The certificate requirements are similar to group 2.
This year, the National Economics University will enroll 89 programs, including two new programs: Labor Relations and International Trade Law. The total quota and the quota ratio for each method will be announced later.
Last year, on a scale of 30, the benchmark score for Public Relations was the highest at 28,18 points, followed by E-commerce at 28,02. The remaining majors were all from 26,57 and above. This is the total score of three graduation exam subjects according to the combination (depending on the major), including priority points (if any).
With a scale of 40 (a double subject), the highest admission threshold is 37,49 in Marketing Communications. Many other majors with a benchmark score above 36 are Business Administration, Valuation, Hotel and Event Management… The lowest in this group is Software Engineering with 34,06 points.
